In devastating news, a chartered flight has crashed near Sarvoday Nagar in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, where a construction work was going on. According to NDTV, the plane was preparing for landing when it crashed.
The 5-seater flight is a Beechcraft King Air C90 turboprop.
Images and videos being shared on Twitter, from the sight, show flames and black smoke rising from the wreckage.

The Hindustan Times reported the death of the pilot, two engineers, a technician on board and a pedestrian, as per a statement by the aviation regulator DGCA.
Lakhmi Gautam, the additional commissioner, east region has been quoted as:
“We received an information of plane crash and our teams have been dispatched.”
Five fire tenders and disaster management teams have arrived at the scene of the crash.
