S. Chandra Slams Coldplay And Twitter Trolls Him By Bringing Zee’s “Sanskari” Work To Light

The Global Citizen Festival in India was a stellar success with Coldplay being the supreme highlight of the evening. However, not everyone seemed impressed by the band’s performance.

Subhash Chandra, previously the Chairman of Zee Media and currently a Member of the Rajya Sabha, took to Twitter to express his displeasure about the Coldplay event.

Mr Chandra so conveniently assumed that since the country’s youth enjoys listening to Coldplay, we are all unappreciative about any other form of music and our entire generation is doomed.

Indian Twitter was quick to respond to Mr Chandra’s unsolicited comments and called the MP out on his hypocrisy:

1. Such sanskar!

2. Much wow!

3. Alok Nath would be proud!

4. What profound lyrics!

5. And artful TV shows!

6. So brilliantly insightful!

7. Ahem. At least run a spell check before accusing an entire generation of going to waste.

8. Seriously, bro!

9. You knew you had that coming!

10. A simple Google search would’ve worked.

11. That seems like a fair plan.

12. Making a good point there. Why is it one OR the other?

13. Mr Khatri at his hilarious best!

14. Yeah! Freedom of choice. Ever heard about that, Mr media baron?

15. Well, at least someone is asking the most pressing question!

I think that response should be lesson enough. I’m sure Mr Chandra will think twice, and run a spell check another dozen times before going off on a Twitter rant ever again!
