If we look back to the kind of childhood we have had, it certainly can’t go without having mentioned Chacha Chaudhary. I remember buying these comics for as low as rupees 10 during summer days. And, of course, my brother could not stop ranting about the prodigy of Chacha, who seemed like the smartest men of all. But did he learn the secret lessons from it? (Grinning)
To add up more to the amazing time that we had, the quirkiness of Chachi and the ever etched herculean attitude of Sabu made the comics even more entertaining. We have had our share of amusement, but did you read between the lines? All this while, other than saving people from hijackers and theft, he was also subtly giving guidance for a happy married life.
1. Buying your wife some gifts to woo can save the trouble from turning into two
Unless you want your mother in law to live with you. 😛
2. And if that is not an option, you can try to run away
Or just run away, always, as far as you can, like a spartan.
3. If you’ve had a fun business trip, make sure you return home with something precious
Make sure you that.
4. Your patience is the key to a better married life
Wait and wait some more.
5. She is your better half for a reason. Make her a lead in your squad
She is smarter than you think she is.
6. Because she’s the one who will always, without fail, take your case
Haha, because she loves you!
7. Sometimes she will totally appreciate your quirkiness, as long as you are right
Who wouldn’t?
8. And when you have no answer for her questions, confuse her
Quite tricky, but it always works.
9. Because when life is too obvious, give your woes a toss
Highly recommended and worth it.
10. The essence of everything lies in this – “This too shall pass”
And good things come to an end, and so do the bad ones.
11. She will often give you ‘hatke’ ideas to make more money
Because she needs it back for shopping.
12. It’s better to wait for 2 hours than to never have dinner at all
And remember, patience!
Our childhood would have been so different without Chacha. All thanks to the legendary cartoonist Pran, who gave us these wonderful memories. Not just the wisdom, but Chacha Chaudhary also helped me in planning many pranks on my friends. Good old days.
