Staying at a high-end hotel comes with its own perks and perils. While we enjoy the comfort of a goose feather pillow and the complimentary breakfast spreads, we are often hit by the unreasonable pricing of food and beverages on the menu that just rips us off.
But we hardly complain about a bowl of french fries priced at Rs. 400 or two bananas coming for Rs. 442 because who wants to come across as a pinch-penny watchdog.
But, actor Rahul Bose decided to question the logic behind such a bizarre pricing policy.

In the video shared by Rahul on his social media handle, he is seen giving a tour of his suite at a luxury hotel in Chandigarh where he is currently staying.
He then pointed out that he ordered two bananas at the hotel and was charged a whopping Rs. 442 for them.
He expressed how fruits at such hotels are harmful to our existence.

Obviously, Twitter couldn’t stomach the pricey bananas and decided to serve their opinions on a platter and hilariously expressed their distress too.

IMO, It’s not about how to invoice.
For such trivial items no Hotel worth it’s name charges their guets!!

It’s natural to go bananas over such exorbitant pricing. Anyways, now we really know why they say there are no free lunches.
Though we can’t help but wish that the farmers who toiled for ages to grow the delicious fruit got a half-decent cut in it considering its final pricing.
