Woman Parks Car At Delhi Airport’s “Park N Fly”, Returns To See That All Tyres Are Stolen!

Finding a safe place for parking your vehicle is no less than a Herculean task in a metro city! You got to fight hard to find the space, first of all, followed by the security concerns. Moreover, these ‘safe and secure’ parking lots with guards and CCTV surveillance almost cost you an arm and a leg. By paying a tidy sum, the least we expect for our vehicles is “safety”!

What if you return to the parking lot to find a few parts of your hard-earned vehicle missing? Anybody will obviously freak out!

A similar incident happened with Renu Mehta in Delhi, recently. She thought of giving a try to the ‘Park N Fly’ service at T3 terminal of Delhi Airport which claims to keep your cars safe in the parking zone.

Accordingly, she parked her car at the parking zone at 3:40 am and on her return, she found the tyres of her car missing. She rushed to the concerned person to check the CCTV footage of the entire incident.

The woman found that a thief which was identified as an Uber driver entered the parking lot, checked and left the parking. A few minutes later he returned with a huge stone to use as a support while removing the tyres.

Furious with the incident Renu narrated her ordeal in a Facebook post.

She wrote, “No one is ready to take the responsibility neither GRM nor the Delhi Airport Parking Services (p) ltd. Even one of the GMR employee( CCTV monitoring guy) had the audacity to say ‘so what, this was just a breach of security, the same happened at Pulwama’ such a shameful thought.”

Her post soon caught the attention of Delhi Airport Parking Services and they replied to her saying, “We are assisting Police in the investigation and also closely following the case for logical closure of the same. We again express regret for the inconvenience caused.”

Firstly, the parking could not responsibly take care of the car in their parking zone. Secondly, they also dared to compare the security breach to Pulwama incident. How insensitive and shameless is that!
