It seemed like work as usual for cameraman Chris Benka at 8 News NOW Las Vegas, shooting a news segment at Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, when something rather comedic happened—he fell into the lake!
Imagine you’re super into your assignment, just doing your thing, and everything is going fine when suddenly—SPLASH! You fall into the water on live television! Yeah, not pretty!
But what makes this worthy of going viral the way it has is that despite his fall, the cameraman managed to capture a perfect shot!
You see that? Amazing, no?
Now now, we found out from his Twitter bio that Chris is an Emmy-award winning photojournalist, who has been covering news in the Las Vegas area for the past 14 years. So surely he’s a pro at what he does! But still, to pull off such a cool stunt? You had us floored there, Chris!
I’d also give full props to the presenter of the segment, who seemed absolutely unfazed with the hilarious fall of her cameraman, but continued doing her thing, giving some pretty witty commentary onthe whole incident!
