There was a time when businesses and companies sprang up only when the need for them arose. But that’s not the case now. People are coming up with ideas however weird they might sound and then create their demand. Here are some businesses that we could never have thought existed in real. But, they do!

Rent a mourner is a business based in the United Kingdom that lets you hire a person to mourn for the death of a loved one. They are hired to basically increase the number of people attending the funeral. They create a strategy as to how mourners should behave and dress and fit in among other guests. Wow!

 

2. For all the people who love surprises, a company called Something Store that sends you random things for $10!

This is an online website for people who love surprises. Here, you do not have to pick something for yourself. The people who run the business will pick something for you for $10 randomly and send it to you. It could include a rare book, party game, handmade necklace, box of chocolates, portable table tennis set, pashmina scarf…anything that could make for a nice gift and is legal.

 

3. Cuddle Party started for adults to meet new people and well, cuddle and explore communication, boundaries and affection!

There is a company called Cuddle Party which is a event designed for adults to explore communication, boundaries, and affection. They organize event where people can go meet new people, be comfortable with them and cuddle. I don’t know what’s left to do in the business world!

 

4. Cheese sculpting business! Yes, the lady carves cheese for sporting events, festivals, photo shoots, etc!

Sarah Kaufmann, the cheese lady run the business of carving cheese. Yes. I am equally shocked. She holds a Guinness World record for the largest cheese carving at 925 pounds! She carves cheese for grocery stores, sporting events, festivals, photo shoots and any other business or event that needs a giant chunk of cheese.

 

5. Algordanza, a Swiss company that turns human cremation ash to diamonds..to always have your loved one near you!

Algordanza is a swiss company that offers to turn human remains to diamonds. About 500 g of human cremation ash is required to make one diamond. The gem costs start at 2,800 pounds and are shipped all over the world!

 

6. This company called My Friend Smells sends anonymous fragrant swipes to your friend who smells really bad! Wow.

This is a business which sends fragrant swipes to your friend who smells bad. LOL. And so as not to make things awkward, they do it anonymously. This would make the friend realise he smells bad. People are really creative these days!

 

7. Immortum, a company for the people who want to preserve and deliver things for their loved one after their death.

Do you remember after reading P.S. I Love You, you thought it would be really cool if you could send something to your loved ones after you passed away? Well, a company called Immortum does that task for you. It preserves and delivers your knowledge, wisdom and guidance to those you choose after the loss of memory or the conclusion of life.

 

8. Booster Fuels! A much needed business which provides on-demand fuel delivery service.

This is one company we really need here. This is an on-demand fuel delivery service. All you have to do is park your car, request a boost via the app, leave the gas caps open and well, that’s it! The Booster Fuels app allows customers to pay for their gas and notifies them of their delivery time. That’s super cool!

 

9. Anger room…a stress buster idea to relieve your anger. How? By allowing you to smash things!

There is this company which allows you to relieve your anger. How does it do that? It allows you to smash things (how you do at home, sometimes), hence freeing you from the bottled up anger.
