This Braveheart Almost Lost Her Hands To Ensure Her Attackers Didn’t Get Away

Some scalawags think they can get away with vicious & heinous acts  just because they think women will shut up and refrain from uttering a single word. But this 16-year old proves all of them wrong by showing mental and physical strength beyond her years.

Brinda Kumari who is a stellar student and aspires to be a Chartered Accountant was attacked by the guy who couldn’t take her a rejection to a marriage proposal with his goons while she was returning home from her college.

The attacker worked in Brinda’s father’s farm and was fired from his job for misbehaving with Brinda. In an attempt of taking revenge for the rejection as well as losing his job, he decidedly brought two goons yeilding machetes and ambushed Brinda in her way home.

She was held and chilli powder was thrown in her face so that he could use his machete to disfigure her face. but this brave girl managed to cover her face with her hands seeking to protect her face. In all this, she suffered serious cuts on her hands.

This brave girl held onto her attackers until there were enough people around who could stop the hoodlums and alert the police. She didn’t let them get away with it and got them arrested. As soon as she was brought to a hospital in Bangalore , she was operated on immediately and most of her injured veins, tendons and nerves were attempted to be reconstructed using a special microscope. She was in surgery for seven hours.

In the hospital when she was admitted, the only question that she asked was, “Will I get to go to college?”

Despite almost losing her hands to this incident, her spirit isn’t bowing down to anything. She’s glad she was successful in getting those men behind bars and has hopes for a better tomorrow.
