Celebrity couples are the most talked about thing on social media. They set examples, teach lessons and give the much-needed relationship tips to fans. In return, fans root for them, support them and love them through it all. The world was divided into two after our favourite couple – Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston – split up in 2005.
Although both of them had found happiness with other partners, the relationships ran its course and came to an end. So it was no surprise that fans started speculating a patch up between the duo after Jen split with husband Justin Theroux on 15th February.
While it seemed like a far-fetched possibility at first, it seems like all our speculations weren’t so baseless after all.
News has it, that Brad, 54, and Jen, 49, might be considering a patch-up, much to our joy. How is this happening, you ask? Well, all thanks to George Clooney, who has taken it upon himself to play the matchmaker to reunite the exes.
As per Hollywood Life, Jen, Brad and Clooney, the gang is getting back together. A source said,
“Jen and Brad have been secretly getting together for late-night hookups, and it’s all because of George.”
The source further added,
“George was the first person to call him when his marriage to Angie imploded. After Jen and Justin Theroux announced their split, he encouraged Brad to reach out and give their relationship another chance.”
The trio was close when Brad and Jen were together from 2000 to 2005. However, after Brad got together with Angelina Jolie, George was excluded from Brad’s life. After their split, George took the opportunity to reconnect with him.
The first time Brad and Jen met alone was at a private pre-Oscars party at Jen’s Bel Air home.
“The plan was to head over to Jen’s place afterwards for a nightcap, but, of course, George would just drop Brad off.”
As fate would have it, Brad and Jen had a good time and well, we can hope that it won’t be long before the two give it another shot.
As an ardent fan and self-proclaimed member of Team-Jen, I really do hope these two find their happy-ever-after. If for nothing else, at least for the sake of all of us fans who have been rooting for them for over a decade. Plus, it would also make for a fitting end to a beautiful love story, don’t you think?
