14 Year-Old Rapes And Kills 8 Year-Old Cousin, Mother Helps Dump The Body

Predators who prey on innocent women and children have become so fearless that crimes have seen a steady rise over the few years. It is scary to imagine a world where our future children will not be able to breathe freely because the parents would have become so paranoid about predators being everywhere. Yes, humanity is headed towards a dark abyss and this story proves it even further.

A 14-year-old boy recently raped and strangulated an 8-year-old girl when she objected to him forcing himself on her. The incident happened on March 21, 2018, when the accused and a few of his friends were returning home after watching porn in Ner village, Pusegaon, Satara.

The accused spotted the girl and lured her into an under-construction building with money. However, she started crying when he forced himself on her. The boy ran away and narrated the entire incident to his mother only to return to the building, where the girl was still crying. She threatened to tell her father about this following which the accused raped and strangled her.

He returned home to his mother and told her what he had done. The mother, instead of informing the police, went to the building to recover the body and dumped it in the pond on March 22, 2018. The girl’s body was recovered from the pond on March 23, 2018, by villagers saw her body floating there, two days after the parents lodged a missing person’s complaint.

After the post-mortem was conducted, the police launched a further investigation. Superintendent of Police Sandip Patil told Mid-day,

‘Our informers in the village told us that a few boys aged between 12 and 16 were addicted to watching pornographic videos on mobile phones during afternoons. We picked up all the boys from the village, including the accused. 

The accused told the police that a friend of his was with the girl on the day of the incident but when the police questioned the other boy, his description did not match the one given by the accused. The police’s suspicion was strengthened when the father of the girl revealed that the accused had sexually assaulted his daughter a few months ago.

The parents also revealed that the accused mother-son duo also helped them search for the missing girl on March 21. The deceased child also had bite marks on her cheeks and other parts of the body which the police is now matching with the accused. The mother-son duo has been arrested and the police have registered offences against them under various sections of the IPC and POCSO Act.

It was also discovered that the 14-year-old was a repeat offender who had been arrested for stealing ₹1,000 from a paan shop and was let off with a warning by the Juvenile Justice Board. The police have now started randomly checking mobile phones in the village to ensure no one is downloading pornographic videos anymore.
