13-Year-Old Boy Sells His Xbox & Takes Up Part-Time Job To Buy His Single Mom A Car

At some point in their lives, families go through a tough time. If there are several highs, there will be several unexpected lows as well. But what holds the family together during a crisis is all its members doing their bit and owning responsibility, no matter how young or old.

13-year-old William Rabillo from Nevada noticed that his single mother was trying really hard to make ends meet without any transportation. Besides him, she had two other sons to take care of.

Being the oldest son in the house, William took it upon himself to make life a little easier for his mother.

For years, he had been doing garden and house work for neighbours in his community for some extra money.

Thinking about how easy it would be for his mother to get work done if she owned a car, William decided to buy his her one.

“I saw on YouTube where people get their mom a car and then surprise her with it. I wanted to do that”, William told sources.

William was soon on Facebook, scrolling through people who wanted to sell their cars and chanced upon a woman trying to sell her 1999 white Chevrolet Metro.

“It was really cheap so I asked her if I could trade his XBOX or earn it, and at first she said no and after she thought about it, then she said yes,” William said.

By doing the same garden maintenance and housework he did in his neighbourhood for this woman, William was soon able to buy the car.

When the big day finally arrived, his mother Krystal couldn’t believe her son would do that for her and started bawling.

She even posted a heartfelt note about the incident and how grateful she is for having a son like William.

It takes a pure heart to step up and take responsibility for the family at such a young age. Kudos to William for helping his mom out in his own way!
