Twitter and Instagram are booming with a new trend taking over these social media platforms – #BottleCapChallenge. It’s a challenge that hasn’t just roped in regular Netizens, but even the celebrities from around the world. The challenge involves participant untwisting a loosely screwed bottle-cap, with nothing else but a back-spin kick.
Thanks to now-viral videos posted by stars like Jason Statham and Akshay Kumar, the #BottleCapChallenge is the talk of the town online.
The Challenge started around 1 week ago, when an Kazakh Taekwondo Expert “Master Fa” shared his attempt on Instagram. This led to a series of celebrities responding to the video and tagging others to further the challenge.
This challenge took off with stars like actor Jason Statham, singer John Mayer, and UFC fighter Conor McGregor sharing their attempts at the #BottleCapChallenge.

Soon many other celebrities decided to try their hand at the challenge. After seeing his inspiration, Jason Statham, Khiladi Akshay Kumar also threw his hat in the ring. He also invited everyone to support this challenge keeping fitness in mind.

As the trend is catching on, Twitter and Instagram are just raging with people winning (and failing) the challenge. Seeing these many celebs trying what seems a challenging task, a storm on Netizens joined the fray, kicking bottlecaps, bottles, and in some cases, even the ones who hold it for them.
