Owning a pet is a thing of pure joy. Don’t just take my word for it though. There are have been several studies that prove it. By all accounts, pet parents are less stressed out, happier and more active (because they exercise often).
Psychologist Corinne Sweet reveals, “The act of stroking a pet can lower high blood pressure, and being greeted or comforted by a pet can increase general emotional wellbeing.”

The world truly is a better place with our pets. Their unconditional love, playfulness, loyalty and protective instincts are what makes our bond with them so much stronger. Which is probably why we don’t refer to them as pets but our family!
