If You’re Afraid Of Needles, This Device Will Let You Give Blood Samples Without Them

There’s good news for all you guys who start feeling bad things when you’re at the clinic giving a blood test and you see a needle approaching you. A U.S. based company, Tasso, has come out with an innovative solution to make it happen without the use of needles- a small vacuum that draws blood out of your body.

This small device takes about 2 minutes to draw blood, and it uses a mild vacuum to do it.

The device can draw around 0.15 cubic centimeters of blood, which is enough to test for things like cholesterol, infections, cancer cells and blood sugar, before being mailed off to a lab for analysis.

It hopes to be out in the US market by next year. Fingers crossed for it making its way to India!
