The people who came to witness a neck to neck encounter between FC Dila and Torpedo Kutaisi of Georgia’s Erovnuli Liga, were in for some extra bit of entertainment on Tuesday. Thanks to a playful black labrador, who thought of having some fun with the players on the field.
The professional football match stood goalless when this adorable canine invaded the pitch. At first, the dog ran around the field, wagging its tail at everyone he passed by. And trust me, I lost my heart there.
The dog probably had mistaken the field as a giant dog park! The ball was just the icing on the cake.
Unable to find a companion to play, he went towards the FC Dila goalkeeper who tried to put forward a hand of friendship. But wait, the dog wanted something more. Redefining the word ‘cuteness’, the dog rolled over and requested him for some belly rubs.
After a heart-warming few minutes on the field, the dog was finally escorted out of the pitch. But not before it treating the audience with much more than they had paid for.
