A bizarre video of a five-storey building cruising down a river in China has made waves on social media. Yes, you read that right and we aren’t kidding.
The video shows the building being dragged along river Yangtze in China by speed boats.
A Twitter user who goes by the named @Rainmaker1973 posted the footage and captioned it, “Things that happen in China. A five-story ‘building’ was spotted cruising along the Yangtze River.”

Before you start being all Sherlock on the video, let us confirm that the building in question, was, in reality, a floating restaurant and the authorities had to relocate it due to a policy.
As the twitter user clarified, it is a large floating restaurant being pushed along the river by two smaller boats to a new location. The eatery, named Impression Jiangjin, had to be relocated by local authorities because it was causing too much pollution to the river, according to Chinese media.
The video has attracted massive response from netizens raising questions on its credibility. It instantly went viral, cracking Twitterati.
