A Group Of Women Bikers Rode 10,000 Km Across 10 Nations For Modi’s “Beti Bachao” Campaign

There’s hardly anything as cool as bikers and you know what’s even cooler? Women bikers! But wait, there’s something even cooler – Narendra Modi with four biker chicks! Oh yes, the man in saffron may not don the black leather biker jacket but he sure looked dapper as the these bikers of India, known as the Biking Queens struck a pose with the PM after completing their 10,000 km ride!

The women bikers traveled around 10 nations including Nepal, India, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore for the last 39 days as a part of the “Beti Bachao” campaign.

The 50-member group, formed by Dr. Sarika Mehta back in 2015, had begun the journey on June 4, 2016.

They met various people on the road and spoke of issues such as girl child education, female infanticide, gender inequality and have been enriched with a worldview that few get to experience first hand.
