Biker Escapes Death As Truck Runs Over His Head, Thanks To The Helmet

A group of people in Pune, recently performed the funeral of a helmet, owing to the ‘uselessness’ of it. Where thousands of road accidents take place in a country like India, considering a helmet an ‘unnecessary’ accessory is no less than mere stupidity.

Out of all the incidences where a helmet has either saved a life or has claimed one for not wearing it, one of the videos is doing rounds on the internet, lately.

IPS officer Raj Tilak Roushan shared a video of a road accident which would have turned out to be the biker’s worst nightmare if he did not wear a helmet.

The police officer highlighted how a helmet can save your life and how important it is to follow the road safety measures.

The video shows a motorcyclist who is driving in a narrow gap between a truck and pavement. As he tries to take over the truck, he loses his balance and the truck rolls over his head. The man then gets up with his brutally crushed helmet (which could have been his head) and sits aside.

Traffic police across the country are trying several innovative methods of assuring road safety. From memes to tire killers, they are trying to assure the safety of the people on road by hook or crook. But, our safety mostly lies in our own hands.
