A terrific loves story in Bihar was turned out to be so intense that the Gram Panchayat had to be called in to make sense of it. The love between a woman and her son-in-law broke apart a marriage but in the end, love triumphed. Here’s what happened.

Asha Devi, 42, fell for his daughter’s husband, Suraj and finally married him in court with the lawyers as the witnesses. When the odd couple returned home after the marriage, Asha’s daughter was too shocked at the sight and fainted instantly.

The love sparked when Asha Devi visited an ailing Suraj to check up on him. Soon, they fell in love and after she returned home, both would spend hours on the phone. Devi’s husband works in Delhi which made it convenient for Suraj to come and visit his mother-in-law quite often. Finally, the decided to get married.

The villagers called in the Panchayat to settle the matter but surprisingly, the Panchayat’s verdict was in favour of the lovers and they were allowed to live their conjugal life without any issues.

After the incident, Asha Devi’s husband took his daughter with him saying the incident would not harm his daughter anymore.
