Bhutan by far is the only country in the entire world that leads by example. Not only does it weigh prosperity by Gross National Happiness (GNH instead of GDP) but the home of hills also present an abode of solitude that is quite unmatched. And I don’t know about you, but I have never heard of Bhutan making news for the wrong reasons.
Now, the last time I did, it was an occasion which was marked by the birth of the prince of Bhutan. It was also the same occasion that saw the plantation of 1 lakh trees as the part of the celebrations.
Believe me, when I say this, a year has passed by and Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck is about to celebrate his first birthday on February 5. And the preparations are abuzz.
