Cute Little Bhutan Prince Meets Ms Swaraj On His 1st Trip To India And The Pics Are Adorable!

Royal families are always a fascinating subject, aren’t they?

Monarchies may have dwindled over the years, but members of the royal family continue to reign on the hearts of their kingdoms, especially when they’re cute! Take the Crown Prince of Bhutan, for example!

When Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck was born last year, the people of Bhutan planted 108,000 trees as a mark of celebration. There was even a calendar full of adorable pictures of the cute little Druk Gyalsey, which means Dragon Crown Prince.

And now, this sweet one-and-a-half-year-old royal is on a 4-day visit to India along with father, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and mother, Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema.

The Druk Gyalpo or “Dragon King” and his wife, Druk Gyaltsuen or “Dragon Queen” are on a goodwill visit to India, in the wake of the Doklam issue between Indian and China.

And we’re so glad the little Prince could tag along because he just adds so much awww factor to every picture! Like this one here!

This is the Prince’s first visit to India and looks like he’s already winning hearts, starting with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj!

She received the Royal Family of Bhutan when they arrived, and when the paparazzi came snapping, she taught the little royal guest how to wave at them!

And nope, there was absolutely no escaping that cherubic smile while Ms. Swaraj officially welcomed the Prince, while the King and Queen looked on!

It doesn’t matter if you’re an esteemed minister who has to maintain diplomacy, if you see a cute kid, you go ahead and pull his cheeks!

We totally understand, Ma’am! We would do the same!

Being adorable is a full-time job, but the Prince has to prep for his royal duties too. And he’s already begun!

Look at him, listening oh-so-attentively to what his father is saying! We bet, he’s a fast learner!

Next stop on the tour was meeting the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind. And when it was time for some photo ops, the little Prince was all poise and perfection!

Was there any tantrum-throwing? Did the photographer have to take several retakes? Guess we’ll never know because in this picture, he’s being the perfect little royal!

The Gyalsey was being such a good boy throughout the day that he totally deserved a treat. And he got one too from none other than President Kovind himself!

His face really lights up when he receives the gift basket! Watch!

Could he BE anymore lovable? Probably yes!

We’ll just have to keep an eye out for more such cute moments from His Royal Adorableness!
