T-Series Head Bhushan Kumar Accused Of Sexual Harassment, Complaint Filed By Mumbai Woman

#Metoo in Bollywood has once again gained momentum with women coming up to accuse some of the big names of sexual harassment in the B-town. The recent names to join the league of alleged sexual misconduct was Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani. He has however denied all the accusations against him, calling them false and malicious. Some of the Bollywood celebrities, on the other hand, have united to stand with Hirani claiming the accusations to be totally incorrect.

T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar has become the latest one to face accusations.

A complaint has been filed against Kumar at Oshiwara police station by one of his female associates, reported ABP Live. The girl who chose to remain anonymous has accused Kumar of sexually harassing her under the pretext of offering a job in his company. The report mentioned that she first met Kumar at the premiere of Bhumi. She had exchanged mobile numbers with Kumar at the event.

Bhushan Kumar, the producer of Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Why Cheat India?’ has become the second person from the film’s team to be accused of sexual misconduct within a week. Recently, a woman has also summoned director Soumik Sen of sexual harassment.

Back in October 2018, an unnamed Twitter user came up with her story of #Metoo alleging that Bhushan Kumar offered her ‘a relationship that involves work and pleasure’. She also claimed that as she denied, Bhushan threatened her to keep her mouth shut or be ready for the consequences.

The #Metoo rage doesn’t seem to slow its pace anytime soon in the Bollyland. Let us see how many more such stories are yet to come up…
