The ‘Bermuda Triangle’ is, undoubtedly one of the most mysterious places on this earth. Also known as the Devil’s Triangle, this triangular patch of water in the middle of the Atlantic ocean has been acting as a vanishing cabinet for ships and even planes for centuries.
For certain unknown but widely speculated reasons, this place has been wolfing down practically anything that goes through this patch, without leaving any trace. Neither bodies of people who were on board or or any debris from the possible wreckage have ever surfaced after vanishing once and for all.
So here are few things you should know about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle.
1. This triangle is bounded by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico and covers about 500,000 square miles of ocean
2. A Douglas DC-3 aircraft containing 32 people went missing in 1958. No trace of the aircraft was ever found
Neither was the USS Cyclops and its crew of 309 that went missing after leaving Barbados in 1918.
