In a disturbing incident, a woman living in Bengaluru’s BTM Layout named Neha Biswal, who works as a content creator on Instagram, shared how she was groped by a 10-year-old boy riding a cycle in the neighbourhood. The incident was caught on camera while she was recording a vlog while walking down the street.
“I was making a video while walking, this boy was initially riding in the same direction then he saw me, made a U-turn and began to come towards me. He first teased me and mimicked how I was talking on camera and then molested me,” she said.
In the video, we can clearly see how a hand gropes her breasts.
When she raised a cry, the locals caught hold of the boy, who tried to escape. Upon getting caught, the boy said that he was trying to perform stunts on his cycle when he brushed past the victim. While several locals asked the woman to let the boy go because he is a “child”, others reprimanded the boy for his disgusting act and even hit him.
“I did not file an FIR because a child is involved and I don’t want to ruin his future but I do want him to be caught and be given some kind of a warning,” she said, reported Moneycontrol.

It’s shocking and disturbing to hear about a young boy, just 10 years old, behaving in such an inappropriate way toward a woman. This kind of incident raises serious questions – What could lead a child of this age to act like this? Is he being exposed to harmful influences at home, at school, or online? Are parents, teachers, and society failing to guide and protect children from negative behaviors?
Incidents like this highlight the urgent need to address the environment young children are growing up in. It’s a wake-up call for everyone to pay closer attention to what children are exposed to and ensure they’re taught respect and boundaries from an early age.
