Bengaluru Man Sets Up Food Delivery Business For His Cook, Manages Orders, Payments For Her

Recently, a man in Bangalore named Ankit Vengulerkar took to announce that he is helping his 47-year-old cook, Saroj Didi, set up a home-food delivery business, reports Times Now. After her husband passed away, Saroj Didi has been the sole support for her 3 children and does housework for a living. However, she is an excellent cook and even used to run a small eating joint in the past.

To help Saroj Didi earn a few extra bucks amidst a global crisis, Ankit expressed how Saroj Didi has been wanting to set up a home-cooked food business for a while now. And hence, a few days ago, she, with help from Ankit, finally set it up!

On Twitter, Ankit addressed people living in HSR Layout and said that if anyone is craving for home-cooked meals, Saroj Didi’s food is the answer.

While Saroj Didi cooks delicious meals, Ankit handles orders, payments, and coordinates with delivery guys – a perfect team!

Recently, she cooked 2 kgs of Mangalore crab curry and it sold out in a jiffy! Support came pouring in from JP Nagar, Koramangala, and Indiranagar.

As Ankit’s tweets went viral, Chef Vikas Khanna took notice. He seemed to be really impressed and jokingly asked if they deliver in New York!
