Video Of Bengaluru Police Chief Saluting A Schoolboy Is Winning Hearts On The Internet

A small gesture has roused many hearts online recently where Bengaluru’s top cop, T Suneel Kumar was seen saluting an ordinary schoolboy while on-duty.

Kumar was leaving Bengaluru’s Mallya Hospital accompanied by his colleagues when a young child in his school uniform saluted him. Returning the courtesy, he saluted back.

This candid moment was caught on camera and the Bengaluru City Police’s Facebook page shared it along with the caption,

“A respect given by a uniform to a uniform shows the value of discipline.”

According to NDTV, T Suneel Kumar took charge as Bengaluru’s police chief August last year. He took over from Praveen Sood, who was transferred after just seven months.

The video has now gone viral and garnered over 2,19,000 views and 2,000 shares.
