Mark Zuckerberg is a genius who sorted out our social life on a whole other level. We’ve made friends across the globe, he’s given a new meaning to ‘a wall full of memories’, we’ve learned to like, comment and share our joys and sorrows, we’ve learned to accept and be accepted for who we are, we’ve learned to Facebook.

Today I checked out Facebook on my phone while still being logged onto it from my desktop, that’s how much Facebook run time we need in a day, but do you remember what the world was like before Facebook came into the picture? Probably not. Well be prepared for some nostalgia rush, we’re about to show you how Facebook has changed our lives,

1. Where is he now?

Facebook Devoid Years:  ‘Woh Jagdish yaad hain? He was the first bencher in our geography class, he had a major romance with Renu from history class, I wonder if it worked out’.

Today: Jadish Shetty has moved to Canada with Renu Shetty.

 

2. When Facebook saved your ass

Facebook Devoid Years: ‘Shit, I’m so sorry, I swear I remembered your birthday till 11:30pm last night but I slept off just before 12’.

*Gets on phone asap* ‘Hey Ridhima, happy birthday! Ofcourse I remembered, how could I forget?’

Facebook Devoid Years: ‘Ya, I’m working with Google as an Account Strategist, the office is pretty cool’.

Friend: ‘Accha toh tum Doodle banate ho? Mera office canteen bhi bahut cool hai, mast Dabeli melti hai, tumhare office mein hai Dabeli?’.

Today: Vishakha Pahwa started working with Google, Hyderabad.

Same friend commented on Life event: ‘Congratulations, the photos look very cool’.

 

4. When you want to make your relationship public

Facebook Devoid Years: *At school reunion* ‘Hey *friend I haven’t met in years*, meet my girlfriend Zara’. *After 2 hours of introductions*, ‘Hey, have you met my girlfriend Zara?’

Friend: ‘Yes like thrice during this party’.

Today: Gautam Anand is in a relationship with Zara Lee.

Facebook Devoid Years: *Takes bike and rides under her building, approaches her friends and writes notes in class, which never reach the girl*.

6. When you have to invite friends who live abroad for your wedding

Facebook Devoid Years: *Goes to post office, waits there for eternity, by the time post reaches friend in America, you already have two children.*

Today: You’ve been invited to Attend Tanu’s Wedding in Hyatt, Mumbai at 9:00pm on Thursday, 1st December.

10. Meeting new people

Facebook Devoid Years: ‘Chal re, let’s go to some house parties, we need to make friends in Pune’.
