These Celebrities Were Busy Beautifying Your City This Weekend. What Were You Upto?

The beauty of a city, lies in the beauty of its residents

It’s something we’ve all known. People are the ones who make the city worthwhile. The beauty of a city lies within the hands of its residents and all it takes to keep the city looking pleasing and clean is a little effort. And that’s exactly what OPPO did.

OPPO joined hands with 3 celebs & 3 NGOs to deliver a message of love, of beauty and how small thoughtful deeds can go a long way in changing the attitudes & behaviours of people.

So here’s how it began: Parineeti Chopra shared this video on social media a few days back

And so did Ayushmann Khurrana…

They invited people to join them on Saturday, 24th September in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Gurgaon to beautify their own city!

This initiative “Beautiful City” was organized by OPPO in association with three NGOs, across 3 major cities in India.

With this campaign, the celebrities, NGOs and OPPO would like to reach out to the youth, educate them, and spread awareness about how important it is to keep one’s city beautiful and clean.

Ayushmann Khurrana painted a wall with the kids from VIDYA Integrated Development for Youth and Adults, in Gurgaon.

Jacqueline shared her thoughts on the same, “It feels great to be doing my bit for the city. Amongst all the chaos in our lives, doing something to make the city beautiful gives me immense calm and peace! Thank you OPPO for the great opportunity!”

Not only did OPPO organize this event, but they also donated 2 lakh to each of the three NGOs.

They really went all out on their CSR initiative and gave the youth something to think about as well as a beautiful souvenir that would remind them how important it is to keep doing our bit every day to keep our cities beautiful.

A job well done. An effort worth applauding. 🙂
