Anyone who has watched a substantial amount of YouTube videos must’ve come across a compilation of Russians doing random things. And even though their actions seem to be erratic, it’s usually fueled by two things. One’s vodka and the second is a whole lot of crazy. So, considering how they’re the ones who’re hosting this year’s FIFA World Cup, things were expected to go haywire. Fortunately or unfortunately, it did.
In a video that’s going viral after Russia’s win over Arabia, an actual bear can be seen riding a jeep through the streets of Moscow.
As it’s customary of the host country to play the first match of the tournament, Russia took on Arabia. The match was pretty one-sided as Russia netted five goals and conceded none. As the country’s football fans were ecstatic after the win, they took to the streets to celebrate. And that’s where things got weird.
There was a parade going on with cars and people cheering and singing. And out of that crowd, people noticed a bear in a jeep and playing a Vuvuzuela. Yes, an actual, gigantic grizzly bear. It even went onto to do its version of the Quenelle salute. And no, it wasn’t driving the jeep. There were others in it along with the bear.
Don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself:
Just been sent this, appears to be a bear in a jeep, blowing a vuvuzela (?) and then giving a quenelle salute. And told it's happening somewhere in Moscow. pic.twitter.com/Tg0Hj0taSo

Some netizens thought this was animal cruelty and wanted those Russians to be reprimanded accordingly.
1. There might be a dark side to this.
World is going backwards fast if folk find this entertaining 😏

4. It’s a possibility.
Being a party pooper here but that poor guy has probably had the absolute shit battered out of him for years to do that. I never find videos like this funny maybe I’m just a sensitive nonce https://t.co/cB2m0EPXfE

5. This is upsetting people very much.

However, others thought that it wasn’t so serious and made light of the whole situation.
1. It’s very hard to believe.
That’s the most surreal thing I think I’ve ever seen.

2. Very creative.
It’s Antoine Grizzlyman celebrating his new contract

3. Why didn’t nobody think about that?
Isn’t it better that the bear sits on the backseat blowing a vuvuzela and running around free while at home, than being chased in the woods by some russian with a hunting rifle? There is only three options; on the plate, in a zoo or at someone’s home as a pet. Are pets bad??

4. People think Russians can top this feat.
@utSH0RTY these Russians don't play around. First 5-0, now they've got bears playing vuvuzelas.
— Chausy (@tonychau) June 14, 2018
5. That’s the most apt reaction.
Fucking russians man 😂🤙 https://t.co/Ae6pxI7mkw

The FIFA World Cup 2018 has a long way to go and we’re getting scenes like this already. And since it’s Russia, there’s a 100% possibility that things will get crazier. Nevertheless, since the video of this bear has gone viral and raised legitimate concerns, looking into it might be right thing to do at the moment.
