Themed parties are not at all new. We’ve seen everything from trippy neon to Harry Potter ones. But what makes a truly great themed party is the attention to detail. If someone takes the time to include the little things, it goes from basic to brilliant. And that is exactly what happened when Twitter user Sparky’s boyfriend threw her a Batman party to celebrate her 32nd birthday.
What’s special is that she always wanted one as a child but was denied the same as superhero parties were apparently meant for boys.
When I was a little girl in the 90s, I wanted a Batman birthday party, but I was told that "Batman was for boys."
