In an attempt to remove the use of plastic from day-to-day life, a man from Assam has invented water bottles made out of bamboo. A former IITian, Dhritiman Bora made these water bottles which are made entirely of eco-friendly products.

They are available in different sizes and cost between Rs 400 to Rs 600 each. They are also fitted with a tight cork hence making them leakage proof!

“Being a natural product, the water remains cool and hygienic and being sturdy it can be taken anywhere. The plastic bottles are very bad for health and in summer can not be used it become hot,” Bora told North East Today.

Dhritman was helped by Mousom Bora in the procedure. The bamboo bottles are made available for sale on an e-commerce platform. Bora, however, says that as plastic is quite widely spread and used by the common man in the daily household, it is becoming difficult for them to spread awareness about the eco-friendly bottles.

“I am trying to redefine the natural and raw choice of people through tribalplanets.com. We are trying to make all the products easily available at your doorstep with a little amount of digitization,” said Mousom.

Apart from being eco-friendly, the bottles look really stylish and cool! Would you like to try it?
