These Pakistani Folk Singers Gave ‘Chittyan Kalaiyan’ A Balochi Twist & It’s Amazing

Unlike the story line of the Bollywood movie Roy and whatever else that fared badly on the Box office, its songs were a decent hit. So much so that apparently for most of us, it were the songs like Chittyan Kalaiyan that managed to pull us to theatres.

Usually the hit Bollywood numbers get remixed quite a number of times, but this one got the likes of Baloch singers from Pakistan and they sang it in their own rustic, melodious voices. Omar farooq has uploaded this Balochi version of the original version of Chittyan Kalaiyan and it is earthy at its best!
