This Woman’s Kickass Resume Got Noticed By None Other Than The CEO Of Her Dream Company

Try and try and try until you don’t succeed and then make a killer resume that not just gets you the job interview but also gets noticed by the CEO and CMO of your dream company. This, in a nutshell is the story of Nina Mufleh from the Middle East, living in San Fransisco and whose dream it was to work for AirBnB.

Mufleh, who wanted to work for AirBnb, had tried to apply for a job opening via emails and job listings with no luck.

So she decided to up her game and came up with an innovative resume that looked exactly like an AirBnB host profile, except it’s a resume.

What made her resume stand out (except of course that it looks like an AirBnB host profile, which is supercool) is the fact that it has information that is different than what would normally be available on her LinkedIn profile.

She mentions how she know about the travel industry, how she could contribute to the company and fields/places where AirBnB could concentrate on more.

Her sister told her she should move on because she had already tried everything.

“I actually thought, I haven’t done everything I can,” Mufleh said. “I’ve done the same thing multiple times, but I haven’t tried new approaches.”

It took her a week to complete it, but her efforts paid off in the end with the CEO, Brian Chesky saying that her resume was “very impressive” , and now she has a formal job interview with AirBnB. You can see her complete resume (in awestruck silence) here.

Nina, if AirBnB still doesn’t hire you, we will. 😀
