Social media brings us closer to our favourite celebrities by giving us a glimpse into their personal lives. They share their thoughts, perspectives and flaws with us through their official handles, making us love them even more. One such celebrity who candidly shares her opinions on her Twitter handle is singer Asha Bhosle. A while back, she showcased Generation Z’s FOMO with a telling picture that was all too relatable.
Today, she spoke about the kind-heartedness of Smriti Irani in an incident that took place after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
I was stranded in the crazy rush post PM oath ceremony. No one offered to help me except @smritiirani who saw my plight & made sure I reached home safely. She cares & that’s why she won. pic.twitter.com/vDV84PrIVp

People were warmed by the minister’s sweet gesture and joined in by appreciating her. Some narrated incidents where she’d helped them as well, while others declared that she’d make the country proud through her efforts.
Undoubtedly! Even I was once waiting in queue to interview her when I saw a lady reporter from a renowned channel broke the queue and went to interview her. She politely asked her to wait for her turn and asked me to come first. 🙂

That shows 2 things, the humility and the caring attitude of Mrs Irani, which is highly admirabl. And, whatever heights India may reach, discipline during and after such events need improvement.

It is so heartening to see two women at the top of their own fields and professions going out of their way to support each other, isn’t it? Because strong women lift each other up. Always!
