‘What About Trauma?’ Ask Desis As Aryan Khan Finally Gets Clean Chit From NCB In Drugs Case

In October 2021, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau following a raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Aryan was charged for the “purchase, possession and use of banned substances”.

He went on to spend almost a month in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail, after which he was given bail but with many restrictions. And now, after several months, NCB has given a clean chit to Aryan, reported ETimes.

NCB’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) claimed in a report, “It appeared that the investigating officer was somehow motivated to implicate Aryan Khan in the drug case.” It was also added that there’s no evidence that has been found against him in the case and the WhatsApp chats that were recovered from him held “no value”.

According to NDTV, anti-narcotics officer Sameer Wankhede, who initially investigated the case is now facing action for allegedly submitting a “fake caste certificate” and “shoddy investigation” into the drugs case.

While many were happy that Aryan Khan’s name was cleared, some highlighted the trauma that was caused to him and questioned how would he recover from it. They also demanded for appropriate action to be taken against the previous investigation officers.

We hope that Aryan Khan and his family are able to soon recover from the mental torture that was inflicted on them.
