Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia was reportedly unwell for a while and had been admitted to the Hiranandani Hospital in Mumbai. HT reports that Kumar who was in the UK shooting for his next, then flew back home on Monday morning to be with her.
On Tuesday, Akshay had thanked his fans who’d prayed for his mother’s health, saying,
But sadly, she passed away on Wednesday morning and Akshay expressed his grief online by tweeting,
She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti 🙏🏻
