A 22-year-old illustrious reign is all set to come to a dead end as Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed his departure from the club. The ‘Wenger Out’ banners will not be seen at the iconic Emirates stadium again with the 68-year-old Frenchman deciding to grant the fans their last wish. Of course, this was just a small token of appreciation from the man who dedicated all his life to the red and white colors of Arsenal.
April 20th, 2018 saw the man who achieved the ‘invincible’ in 2004, confirm that he will be leaving the club on completion of the ongoing Premier League season. With 2 Premier League titles, seven FA Cup trophies, and a bag full of respect, Arsene Wenger will go down as the greatest manager ever to stand on the sidelines at the Emirates.
Leaving the monumental responsibility of carrying forward the rich legacy of the London Club, Arsene Wenger has issued the most heart-warming statement.
He concluded,
“I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high. To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club. My love and support for ever.”
Following the announcement, the football world came together to bid goodbye to a man whose contribution in changing the face of English football will remain unmatched.

Two of the greatest coaches the world has ever seen, Sir Alex Ferguson and Wenger’s arch-rival Jose Mourinho bowed down to the departing legend in respect.
Speaking of Wenger, Alex Ferguson said,
Jose Mourinho also had good words for Wenger
Needless to say, Wenger is leaving an uphill task for his successor. While there are many tactical geniuses in the world of football, what we can guarantee is Arsenal won’t be the same without this man.
