Everyone has different experiences and takes on friendship. While for some, friends mean more than family, others who haven’t had good experiences would simply deny talking about it altogether.
Playback singer Armaan Malik is among the latter half of people who never understood friendship properly.

Taking to Twitter, the “Bum Bum Bole” singer shared that his image of friendship is distorted because of the bullying and groupism he had faced in school.
But now he is trying to bury his past experiences and give friendship another chance.
“never understood friendship properly. always had a distorted image of it because of all the bullying and groupism I faced in high school. believe it or not, I’m trying to make long lasting friendships NOW. and i guess it’s okay. it’s never too late to begin again.” (sic)

The fact that he faced bullying in high school came as a shocker to many online. But more than that, people resonated with how he felt about friendships.
Soon after, many dropped down to the comments section to share how they have also had bitter experiences with friends that have kept them away from trusting this relationship.
I hate these word ‘friendship’ ‘friend’ they are the people who broke me soo badly that I no more believe in this if I see someone groups of friends chilling together it looks soo fake in my eyes I seriously don’t believe in this word,if nothing life gave me a reason big lesson😣

Honestly I don’t believe in friendship anymore because whenever I made my best friend they somehow left me or hurted me

It’s so common to have groupism n bullying in schools n colleges! I’m happy for you that you’re finding people whom you can trust… it’s so hard to find true friendships these days!!!

I had only temporary friends in school and haven’t made any friends in college. Why is it so difficult to make friends in real life Or am I the one who doesn’t deserve to be someone’s friend.

It’s heartbreaking to see so many people being hurt by people who called them their friends. But, the silver lining is that most of them are ready to start afresh and welcome new friends in life just like Armaan. Kudos to them!
