KK’s untimely demise after performing at a musical concert in Kolkata last night has started a much-needed discourse online. According to India Today, witnesses from the concert have alleged that the singer was performing at a jam-packed stadium where the air-conditioning wasn’t working. Top it off with the summer heat that’s got temperatures soaring in Kolkata.
KK allegedly suffered from a cardiac arrest right after getting off stage. Reports have claimed that he was feeling uneasy, extremely hot and was profusely sweating during his performance.

Amidst all this, the new generation singer Armaan Malik has opened up about how artists need better management and emergency medical facilities during concerts in India.
“Concerts in India need better mgmt, medical & emergency facilities. I’ve seen and been part of far too many shows that don’t serve the right conditions for us to perform in. But yet, being the artists we are, we continue with performing coz we don’t wanna disappoint our fans,” he tweeted.

Several people agreed with Armaan Malik. Considering that artists perform for over 2 hours on stage, at least an ambulance and necessary resources should be made available for them.
It's high time our country stop taking artists for granted :). They risk everything for their audience, their beloved ones , mostly fans :). This is so painful & heartbreaking to see our artists going through all these 🙂 https://t.co/33GbI11M2M

yes, i dont understand how a man having a cardiac arrest was made to walk fast on his feet to rush out of the venue? he should've been in an ambulance. https://t.co/PqYZEN3LlR

Please it needs to be taken care of. Too much ignorance has been observed. And what happened yesterday was the last straw.
And to all the Artists, please please take care of yourself first, fans who love you will understand. https://t.co/ZcMg9JVhpn— trusfrated⁷(Taylor's version) (@borafiedswiftie) June 1, 2022
After this all i hope they take some actions and maintain right facilities.
Performing on stage is not easy.
They perform more than 2hr. And giving there best. Medical and emergency facilities are important that would be there first choice to treat the artist good 🙂 https://t.co/s02ARMUI1S— Yashashvi || #WHENRAVAL ? (@yasvi_drdz) June 1, 2022
Please –
Management should improve their facilities . When one is giving all his/her 100% to play their part , you too should know your responsibilities & serve them right condition to perform 🙃🙏 https://t.co/rrCX5CNFFf— Nehaa 🏠💙 | When Raval ? (@Nehaa_drdz) June 1, 2022
I myself have been in situations where both the artist and audience were suffering so much cause there was just very little space and way too many people..lack of air, lack of space, everything going out of control…THIS HAS TO STOP AT ANY COST!
