Arjun Kapoor Makes Donation Appeal For A Kid, People Say, “Your One Day’s Earning Can Save Him”

On Thursday, actor Arjun Kapoor took to his social media followers to request his fans and followers help a child named Ayaansh Gupta, who diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening condition called ‘Spinal Muscular Atrophy’. Sharing some photographs of the child and details of the condition, he wrote in the caption, “A request for everyone to do as much as they can to help the little boy! Donation link in bio.” The child’s family had a plea of raising Rs 16 crore for his treatment.

While many people commented appreciating him for his donation call, it didn’t go down well with some others. A user took a dig at him and wrote, “Well your one day earning could save him right away” to which Arjun responded, “if I was earning 16 cr a day I would definitely not need to post this. But knowing that I can’t afford 16cr I have done my part towards helping him & also have put it out there after that…rather be of help and provide a positive move to help him.”

Another user also dissed the actor in a now-deleted comment that read, “I said the same thing, he is jst (just) doing publicity for his own benefits.” To this, Arjun replied, “my friend since you follow me and u (you) would realize I’m doing this for the boy’s benefit to save his life.”

A user commented, "Well, your one day earning could save him right away!"

Alia Bhatt, too, had taken to her Instagram stories to request her fans to donate, The Indian Express reports.
