Apple has dominated the mobile market for a long time now and not many companies have been able to come close to its influence in the tech market. Not to mention the status symbol that Apple gadgets have become.
However, a recent bug may prove to be the cause of panic among Apple users as an Indian character is being held responsible for crashing the iOS systems. The text if received or simply pasted in a text field, can lead to freezing of applications or crash the entire operating system.
The symbol that is responsible for this is actually two Telugu characters that when translated mean the word “sign.” It looks something like this:
The severity of opening the text with the bug in it is such that once you open it, the app which you used will keep crashing, no matter how many times you try to open it. If someone sends you the symbol and iOS tries to show it in a notification, the entire system software that manages the Home will be blocked, as reported by Mobile World.
Take a look at how it affects your phone:

Unfortunately, phones are not the only ones getting affected by it. Your Apple watch and your Mac are not safe either. Moreover, users are warned against forcing their gadget to reboot as it will go into a bootloop and can cause serious problems. Obviously, netizens were worried.
@Apple hurry up and fix ur text glitch it’s annoying and kinda scary I don’t want my phone to crash

I seriously cannot believe that Apple has managed to do us over again. The current bug doesn't just block you from using one app, it simply blocks you from using your entire phone and puts you in a crash loop. This is my first iphone and definitely my last.

The bug is relatively new and was discovered three days ago. Apple has not yet made any statements about it.
