After so much debate and conversation about giving importance to women’s cricket, we finally see people spending more time, money, and attention on the female cricketers of the country.
Recently, the country saw the star-studded inaugural ceremony of the first Women’s Premier League which is expected to change how everyone perceives women’s sports in India.
The Tata Women’s Premier League 2023 trophy was also unveiled at the event.
The eventful night that brought entertainment and sports together saw Bollywood actors like Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon performing on the stage at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.

Among other artists who rocked the stage was Indian-Canadian singer Amritpal Singh Dhillon, professionally popular as AP Dhillon.

While the Canadian Punjabi singer LIT the stage with his electrifying performance on his famous songs like ‘Brown Munde’, ‘Insane’ among others, people couldn’t help but notice that the singer was actually lip-syncing to his songs and not singing them live on the stage.
Since all eyes were on him, everyone saw his blunder. People took to Twitter to vent their anger and called his performance at the WPL inaugural function a scam.
