While MS Dhoni suffered a whitewash and Sourav Ganguly could only manage a draw, reigning Indian skipper Virat Kohli entered the history books by toppling the Aussies in their own backyard, for the first time in Indian Test cricket history. A draw at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground was enough to see a relatively young Indian side clinch the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 in their favour.
While the moment meant the cosmos to Virat Kohli, his wife Anushka Sharma was present in the stands to witness the emphatic moment. The Bollywood Diva even stepped on grass to congratulate his hubby and the other boys who fought valiantly to achieve the phenomenal feat.

However, Anushka did not stop there. Taking to her official Instagram account, Anushka penned down a note for the victorious Indian team for their brilliant effort down under. She went onto shed light on her proudness at that moment and also expressed her love for Virat Kohli.
