Anurag Kashyap recently hit headlines for tweeting to PM Narendra Modi for help. He shared a screenshot of rape threat sent to his daughter by a supporter of the PM and asked him how to deal with his followers who make such derogatory remarks. His post massed reactions from all over the nation dividing Twitter.

Kashyap, who is known for his staunch criticism of Modi was bashed for dragging him in the fuss. Some others suggested he file an FIR against the troll.
Mumbai police, who are known for their prompt action, did not hesitate in helping the Gangs Of Wasseypur director. They helped him register an FIR with the cyber cell against the man who posted rape threats and profanities in comments on an Instagram picture shared by his daughter, Aaliyah.
Anurag took to Twitter to thank the cops for their immediate help. He also thanked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their support.
“Anyways I want to thank @MumbaiPolice @MahaCyber1 @Brijeshbsingh for helping me with filing the FIR. Thank you so much for the amazing support and starting the process.Thank you @Dev_Fadnavis and thank you @narendramodi Sir. As a father I am more secure now,” he wrote.

We are happy that Mumbai police immediately looked into the matter and helped Kashyap. We hope that they soon investigate the matter bring the culprit to justice.
