Anurag Kashyap never minces his words while expressing his socio-political views about the country on social media. He is a staunch critic of the ruling government as well. And so, many a time, he is trolled by the supporters of the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi for finding faults with him time and again.
Anurag Kashyap is no alien to trolls, but things did not go well with the filmmaker when his daughter was targeted on social media. He shared a comment of one of the trolls who also happened to be a supporter of PM Modi.
The comment was not a normal troll but a rape threat! Sharing the comment on Twitter, Anurag tweeted to Modi asking how to deal with his supporters who send rape threats to her daughter for criticizing him.
“Dear @narendramodi sir. Congratulations on your victory and thank you for the message of inclusiveness. Sir please also tell us how do we deal with these followers of yours who celebrate your victory by threatening my daughter with messages like this for me being your dissenter,” he wrote.

His post was soon flooded with reactions from both fans and haters. Some supported him while others lashed out at him for unnecessarily taking a dig at Modi.
I completely condemn such abusive & vile comments coming from any side of the aisle, however Anurag what are you achieving by just tagging PM Modi ? If you are really serious about the safety of your daughter then tag the police. Modi is a Chowkidar, not a Hawaldar.
