Ankita Lokhande Recalls Sushant’s 5-Year Plans, Says He Achieved Them & Was Not Depressed

The investigation of Sushant’s death is still underway. Yesterday, the late actor’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for abetting his suicide and actress Ankita Lokhande gave her statement to Bihar police.

Thereafter, in an interview with Republic TV, Ankita was quoted saying, “He was not a man who could take such a step. Sushant was not the guy who could commit suicide. We have seen worse situations when we were together.”

“Sushant Singh Rajput was a happy-go-lucky person. I refuse to believe that he was depressed. I was in a relationship with him for seven years and I saw him maintain a diary wherein he would pen his five-year plans. After five years Sushant completed all his dreams. It hurts to see the innumerable theories floating around after his demise.”

The Times of India quoted her adding, “Depression is a very big word to use and it’s very wrong to use in Sushant’s case. Sushant might have been upset about certain things but he certainly wasn’t depressed. People have even termed him as bi-polar. That’s very wrong. Sushant and I have faced worse situations in life and we overcame those. He was a passionate person and he taught me acting.”

“He found happiness in small things. He wanted to do farming, I know this for sure… he told me agar kuch nai hua to main apni short film bana lunga. He was not a depressed guy, not at all. I don’t know what the situation was… but I will keep repeating this. I don’t want people to remember him as a depressed guy, he was a hero. He was an inspiration.”

We hope that the cops get to the bottom of the case very soon.
