Bollywood superstars boast of stupendous fan bases all over the country with people trying to emulate their style-game every time. While some settle with picking up a similar fashion sense, there is always a crazy bunch which goes on to duplicate their looks fully, ending up as their doppelgangers.
But, only a few lucky ones get the opportunity to live and experience the stardom of their idols. And Arif Khan, an Anil Kapoor look-alike, is one such man.
Talking to Filmy Companion, Arif, who is used to entertaining people on TV with his gigs as junior Anil Kapoor, opened up about the incident. The incident roots back to 1992, when Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene were filming for their movie ‘Khel’. Coincidentally, Arif was shooting for one of his shows in a hall next to the film sets at that time.
On hearing that Anil is nearby, Arif went to the sets to meet him. However, as soon as he stepped outside, kids confused him with the legendary actor and asked for autographs. Arif obliged to their request without revealing his real identity.

When the film crew came to know about the incident later, they had a good laugh over it. Anil also called Arif, met him and gave him a warm hug.

Arif also added that he came to the city to fulfill his dreams of becoming an actor. However, he is thankful to the career god had planned for him.
Now, that’s not all. The interview came to Anil Kapoor’s notice on Twitter and he was quick to heap praise on the hardworking Arif!
