A few days back, Neha Dhupia had defended her position in Bollywood after Suchitra Krishnamoorthi called her KJo’s ‘chamcha‘. Now, Neha’s husband Angad Bedi has addressed the twitter battle between them & refuted the allegations leveled against his wife.
The actor was quoted saying by News18, “It was a statement which I didn’t feel held any weight at all. By saying something like that she just exposed herself, which is a bit unfortunate. Because there is a lot of respect we have for her. I don’t know why it was meant and in what light. We are not privileged people. We don’t have any backing like that as such. So, why would she say that?”
He further revealed how the couple faced a lot of rejections and that they worked really hard to be where they are today. Questioning the ‘chamchagiri’ comment, he said that Neha is a self-made actor who has got work only on a merit basis, reports Republic World.
Angad then went on to say that his wife often comes in the line of fire because she is honest and calls a spade a spade. He said his wife is successful because of her talent and hard work. And, people just like to be associated with successful people like her.
