The micro-blogging site, Twitter has become a ‘jaadu ka pitara’ that never fails to amaze us. Twitter users across the world keep coming up with things that one might have never thought of. After comparing cats to ‘desi mithai’ and coming up with bizarre food combinations, users have now discovered that ancient Indian men and women were ahead of their time when it came to fashion.
A Twitter user who goes by the name V Gopalan shared pictures of 900-year-old sculptures from an ancient temple in Tamil Nadu.

Remember the sculptures at historical monuments with women wearing clothes that resemble the present world bikinis? Well, there’s no doubt that our ancestors were better fashionistas than many of us.
