Video Shows Alia Walking Out Award In Hand Before Show Begins, Rangoli Calls It ‘Fixing’

Alia Bhatt has bagged the Star Screen award in the Best Actor Female category for her performance in Gully Boy. The actress graced the red carpet of the show in an elegant colorful sari. But she was spotted leaving the show even before the award ceremony began with her award in her hand from the backdoor exit of the venue, reports HT.

A Twitter user shared the video which shows Alia’s manager asking the paps to post the pictures only after the show is over at 7 p.m. Assuming that this must be an ‘award fixing’, many are calling out Alia on social media including Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Rangoli took a jibe at Alia saying she has atleast got some honesty left that she is fixing awards quietly and not in public.

Have a look at what people have to say about the matter:

This isn’t the first time that the Ranaut sisters are hitting at Alia. Calling Alia Bhatt’s performance mediocre in Gully Boy, Kangana Ranaut earlier told NDTV, “I am embarrassed…What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ….same snappy muh phat girl… Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”

Replying to her comments, Alia had said, “I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.”
